WILLEEMSTAD, Curaçao - The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continued with Curaçao and Trinidad and Tobago drawing 1-1 in Group B on Tuesday at Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curaçao.

The hosts opened the scoring to pull ahead in the 19’, with Kenji Gorré finding the back of the net with a right-footed finish to the upper right corner. 

Livano Comenencia nearly doubled the lead for Curaçao in the 26’ with a grounded right-footed shot from outside the box that bounced off the left post. 

Trinidad and Tobago came closest to equalizing near the end of the first half. First, in the 37’ with an attempt from Jerrin Jackie from close range that hit the right post, followed by a double opportunity inside the box after another corner in the 40’ that saw attempts from both Josiah Trimmingham and Andre Rampersad blocked. 

Kevin Molino took his chance in the 57’, in search of leveling the score for the Soca Warriors, but his powerful right-footed hit from outside the box was met by a save from Curaçao goalkeeper Eloy Room. 

Tyrese Spicer equalized to secure a point for the visitors shortly after in the 58’, with a left-footed rocket from inside the box. André Raymond picked up the assist on the play.

With the result, Curaçao improves to eight points. Trinidad and Tobago improved to five points and remains in third place.

Curaçao will resume its qualifying campaign on November 13 with a visit to Bermuda. Trinidad and Tobago will host Jamaica on the same day.
