KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continued with Jamaica securing a 2-nil win over Trinidad and Tobago in Group B on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Reggae Boyz got on the board in the 36’ when Bailey Cadamarteri played a bouncing ball in between defenders and fired home a shot from the middle of the box.

Jamaica doubled the advantage in the 57’ as Jon Russell was in the perfect spot after a defensive scramble to finish off the play.

Trinidad and Tobago’s García had another goal ruled offside in the second half also for offside.  Despite recording 13 shots and finishing with 55% possession, the Soca Warriors were unable to get their first goal of the Final Round.

Jamaica has scored six and conceded none through its first two matches to take control of the group.

Jamaica will visit Curaçao in the next qualifying window on October 10. Trinidad and Tobago will aim to bounce back when it takes on Bermuda on the same day.
