KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent & the Grenadines -- St. Vincent & the Grenadines (SVG) rallied twice from single-goal deficits to earn a 2-2 draw with visiting Guyana in the first leg of their 2018 World Cup Qualifying, second-round series on Wednesday at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.

With the result, both sides remained unbeaten in 2015 as the Vincy Heat moved to 3W-2D-0L and the Guyanese, who have scored two goals in each of their four matches, went to 2W-2D-0L.

The visitor took a 1-0 lead in 28th minute, when midfielder Brandon Beresford gained possession in midfield and dribbled past two defenders, before shooting past goalkeeper Winslow McDowell.

Cornelius Stewart leveled for SVG six minutes after the break, beating goalkeeper Akel Clarke with a skidding, right-footed effort.

The Golden Jaguars restored their lead in the 77th minute.  Substitute Ricky Shakes found the back of the nets after being fed by Beresford.

It did not take long the host to equalize as Tevin Slater -- another substitute -- got his name on the scoresheet three minutes later.

The Caribbean rivals will meet again on Sunday at Providence Stadium in Providence, Guyana.
