SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – Costa Rica head coach Oscar Ramirez named Wednesday a 24-player roster for the last two games in the fourth round of CONCACAF qualifying for the FIFA World Cup.
The Ticos (3W-1D-0L, 10 points) currently top Group B by three points over Panama (2-1-1, 7) and the sides will meet in San Jose on September 6. First, however, Costa Rica can clinch a final-round berth with a win or a draw at Haiti (0-1-3, 1) four days earlier.
The squad, which contains nine players on clubs currently competing in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League, will open a training camp on August 29 and depart for Haiti on September 1.
