MIAMI – The FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025 continued on Sunday, as the United States of America fell 3-1 to Morocco in the Quarterfinals at Estadio El Teniente in Rancagua, Chile.

Fouad Zahouani opened the scoring in the 31’ as Morocco took the lead.

Cole Campbell equalized in the 45'+6' from a penalty kick opportunity, striking the ball along the right netting for the USA to head into halftime on level terms.

Morocco retook the lead in the 67’ following a long throw-in that resulted in a Joshua Wynder own goal.

Gessime Yassine added the third for Morocco in the 87’ to seal the victory.

The United States exits the tournament with a 3-0-2 record and a fifth consecutive quarterfinals appearance.
