MIAMI – The FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025 continued on Friday, as Concacaf nation Panama fell 2-1 to Korea Republic in Group B at Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander in Valparaíso, Chile.

Kim Hyunmin opened the scoring in the 24’ with a curler to the right-side netting, placing Korea Republic in front.

Kevin Walder equalized the encounter in the 52’ with a left-footed finish inside the box. Kairo Walters assisted with a perfectly weighted ground pass from the left side of the field.

 

 

Shin Minha restored the lead for the Asian side in the 58’ with a header off a corner kick service from Son Seungmin.

Panama concludes its participation with a 0-1-2 record and fourth place in the group B.
