MIAMI – The FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025 continued on Wednesday, including Concacaf nation Cuba earning a 2-2 draw against Italy in Group D at Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander in Valparaíso, Chile.

Michael Camejo converted two penalties against the group leaders to keep Cuba in contention for the Round of 16.

 

 

Andrea Natali scored in the 14’ as Italy took the lead. The Italians extended their advantage in the 31’ through Jamal Iddrissou.

Iddrissou exited the match in the 45'+3 due to a second yellow card, leaving Italy with ten players for the remainder of the match.

Camejo struck from the penalty spot in the 70’ to cut the deficit, and again in the 87’ to equalize and split the points.

Cuba earned its first point of the campaign face Australia in its closing match of the Group Stage on Saturday.
