MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers continued with action in Groups D, E and F on Thursday. 

Group D 

Anguilla 0-7 Haiti 

Haiti kicked off its campaign with a 7-nil victory over Anguilla in Group D at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Franco Celestin got Haiti off the mark in the 9’. Will Leconte added a second for Les Grenadiers in the 15’. Nikolai Pierre further extended Haiti’s lead with headers in the 57’ and 70’. 

Celestin converted a penalty to secure his brace in the 76’. Kervens Romulus struck off a header at the far post in the 85’, and Clavens Exantus had a finish from the left side of the box in the 90+3’ to round out the result. 

Curaçao 6-0 Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 

Curaçao stayed in command in Group D with a 6-nil win against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Damiënthly Bernardina converted from the penalty spot in the 36’ for Curaçao to pull ahead.

Dayvi Busby found the back of the net from close range in the 42’ to double the advantage for the Blue Wave. 

Curaçao captain Shuryjano Cornecion followed with brace, with a goal on a set piece in the 45+3’, and a strike from the left side of the box in the 57’.

Bernardina added two more in the 63’ and 90+5’ to seal his hat-trick and the three points.

Group E

Trinidad and Tobago 5-1 Barbados 

Trinidad and Tobago defeated Barbados, 5-1, in Group E at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The Soca Warriors took the lead through a tap in from close range in the 5’ from Josiah Ochoa. 

Jaydon Caprietta doubled the lead in the 9’. Dominic Joseph added a third from close range in the 45+3’. 

Josiah Kallicharan hit a finish to the bottom-left corner in the 70’, and Derrel Garcia struck off a free kick in the 90’ to score the final two goals for Trinidad and Tobago.

A headed finish from Tre Moore got Barbados on the board in the 90’+3’.

Sint Maarten 0-12 Costa Rica 

Costa Rica opened its campaign with a 12-nil victory against Sint Maarten in Group E at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Costa Rica’s standout attacking display was highlighted by a hat-trick from Dax Palmer. Additionally, Keyner Hernández and Gabriel Sibaja notched braces, while Dan Granados, David Garro, Yamil Leal, Luis Rodríguez, and Isaac Badilla scored once each.

Group F

U.S. Virgin Islands 0-14 Canada 

Canada earned a 14-nil win over the U.S. Virgin Islands in Group F at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua.

Marsel Bibishkov was the star of the night for Canada with four goals. The stunning attacking display from the Reds also saw Owen Graham-Roache and Zayne Bruno contribute with hat-tricks.

Nicaragua 5-0 Martinique 

Hosts Nicaragua bounced back with a 5-nil win against Martinique in Group F at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua.

Nicaragua took the lead with two first-half goals. Yader Caracas struck from inside the box on a set piece delivery in the 4’. Juban Uriarte buried a banger from outside the box in the 22’. 

Uriarte added another in the 63’ to secure his brace.

Mario Montenegro rounded out the victory for Nicaragua with goals in the 67’ and 78’, including a chip over the goalkeeper for the final strike of the night.
