WILLEMSTAD, Curacao – Roberto Louima and Ronaldo Damus scored two goals each as Haiti earned a 4-0 win over Antigua & Barbuda in the final of Caribbean under-20 qualifying on Sunday at the Stadion Ergilio Hato.

With the victory, the Haitians completed the competition -- which started in June and qualified five teams to the next year’s CONCACAF Under-20 Championship – unbeaten with a 7W-1D-0L record.

A pair of goals by Louima (21’, 38’) gave Les Grenadiers a 2-0 lead at halftime and then Damus (47’, 85’) struck twice to increase his finals total to a team-best six tallies.

Antigua & Barbuda was shutout for a second straight game, losing for the first time in the tournament (4-3-1).

In the match for third place, Mikiel Thomas struck with two minutes left in normal time to propel Bermuda past Trinidad & Tobago, 2-1. Knory Scott (44’) gave the Bermudians a 1-0 lead late in the first half, only for Josh Toussaint (49’) to level just minutes after the break.

Each of the four sides had previously secured places in the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship slated to be played in Costa Rica from February 17-March 5. The other participants in the 12-team field are: the host nation, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, St. Kitts & Nevis and the United States.
