MIAMI – The Final Round 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers delivered big moments throughout the competition, concluding with four teams securing their spot in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026.

Puerto Rico Reaches Its First World Cup

Puerto Rico made history by qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time. This 2026 edition will mark Puerto Rico’s debut in any World Cup, male or female, in any category.

Puerto Rico also became the sixth Concacaf Member Association to reach the final stage of the competition and the first Caribbean nation to qualify through the qualifying tournament, as Trinidad and Tobago (2010) and the Dominican Republic (2024) previously qualified as host nations.

Perfect Defensive Tournament for Canada  

Canada delivered one of the best defensive lines in the tournament, completing the Final Round of the Women’s U-17 Qualifiers without conceding a goal. The occasion marks a first in the team’s history.

Reyes Joins Mexico’s All-Time Elite

Citlali Reyes reached ten goals in tournament history, tying the record set by Valerie Vargas Arceo and moving into third place among Mexico’s all-time leading scorers in the competition. She also became the only player to score ten or more goals across two editions of the tournament.

Sánchez and Paniagua Make Tournament History

Dafne Sánchez and Lucía Paniagua made history for Mexico and Costa Rica, respectively, by scoring for the third straight edition of the tournament.

United States Continues World Cup Qualification Dominance

Six-time Concacaf Women's U-17 winners USA kept a strong form in the category, securing a spot in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the sixth straight edition of the tournament.

The United States continued to strengthen its dominance in the competition by reaching 48 consecutive matches unbeaten, with a record of 46 wins and 2 draws.

Within that stretch, the team achieved 29 consecutive victories, the longest winning streak ever recorded by any national team in the history of the tournament.
