MIAMI – The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continues with Panama facing Mexico in Group C on Thursday at Costa Rica Federation Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Panama looks to bounce back after falling 3-1 against Costa Rica. Cristabella Ríos notched the goal for Las Canaleras in the match.
Mexico aims for another three points after a 9-nil rout of Jamaica. Hat-tricks from Citlalli Reyes and Mía Urbano highlighted the victory for El Tricolor, while Ixchel Alehna Uscanga, Emily Delgado, and Bianka Arredondo each scored a goal.
The result marked Mexico’s first-ever 9-nil win in the tournament and improved its record to four wins in its last five meetings against Jamaica. Additionally, Mexico reached 30 overall victories in the Final Round and is the third team with the most wins only behind Canada (32) and the United States (44).
