MIAMI – The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers kicks off on March 17, with the second and final stage of the Confederation's qualifying competition for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026.

1.    What

The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers is the second and final stage of the Confederation's qualifying competition for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026.

Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers took place from January 24 to February 2 and determined the eight remaining nations in the Final Round that join the four top-ranked teams in the region, which received a bye (listed in alphabetical order): Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States.

The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Women’s Qualifiers is the second edition of the event under the current two-round format, following its introduction in 2025. 

2.    Who 

The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers consists of 12 teams, split into three groups: 

Group A

Canada, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua 

Group B

United States, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Bermuda 

Group C

Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica 

The United States and Mexico will compete in the Final Round for a fourth consecutive edition. The U.S. claimed the gold medal in all of them (2016, 2018, 2022, 2024) and is the most successful team in the competition with six titles in eight editions.

3.    When  

The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers will take place between March 17 and March 22, 2026.

The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers will see matches held in Fields #1 and #2 at the headquarters of the Costa Rican Football Federation in San Rafael, Alajuela.

5.    Concacaf’s Road to the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 

Once the Final Round concludes, the three group winners and the best second-place finisher (four teams in total) will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026.
