MIAMI — The three Concacaf nations participating in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Dominican Republic 2024™ have learned their opponents.

Teams were drawn into four groups during Saturday’s draw in Santo Domingo. The event defined the group-stage matchups and subsequent ties for the tournament’s 8th edition.

The Dominican Republic will host the tournament and participate for the first time. The United States and Mexico qualified by reaching the final of the 2024 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship.

Here are the complete pairings for the group stage:

 

  • Group A: Dominican Republic, Ecuador, New Zealand, Nigeria
  • Group B: Spain, USA, Korea Republic, Colombia
  • Group C: Korea DPR, Mexico, Kenya, England
  • Group D: Japan, Poland, Brazil, Zambia

The top two teams in each group qualify for the quarterfinals. The winners will then advance until a winner is crowned in the final.

A Concacaf nation will look to win the tournament for the first time. The United States and Mexico came closest as runners-up in 2008 and 2018, respectively.

The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2024 will be held in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3. Matches will be played in Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros.
