MIAMI -  Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continues with the third set of matches in Groups A, B, and F on Wednesday.   

Group A  

Dominica vs. Belize  

Dominica and Belize will meet for the first time in the history of Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.  

This will be the third time Belize faces a Caribbean team, with one victory and one defeat in the past. 

Dominica is coming from two defeats, while Belize is set for its second Round One fixture after falling 6-nil against Nicaragua in its opener. 

Nicaragua vs. U.S. Virgin Islands  

Group A hosts Nicaragua will face the U.S. Virgin Islands at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua. 

The occasion presents the second matchup between the nations in Round One of Qualifiers. Nicaragua earned a 10-nil victory in the previous encounter at the 2023 edition. 

After posting a convincing 9-nil win over Dominica in its past encounter, Nicaragua will look for a third victory in search of climbing to first place in the group. Five different scorers led Nicaragua to victory. Stefany Miranda scored a hat-trick to reach seven goals in the tournament. Marian Ruiz and Mariela Zavala picked up braces, and Kaylin Hute and Margarita Collado added one goal each.  

The U.S. Virgin Islands enters its second match after falling 11-nil to the Dominican Republic. For the U.S.V.I., this will be the fifth time facing a Central American opponent in the history of the tournament.

Group B  

Suriname vs. Bonaire  

Suriname will play Bonaire in Group B at Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.

For Suriname, this marks first time in the Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers that it faces two Caribbean national teams in the same group (Bermuda and Bonaire). Additionally, Bonaire becomes the sixth debuting national team that Suriname faces in any phase of this tournament, with a record of two wins, one draw, and two defeats.  

Both Suriname and Bonaire will aim to close out their participations on a positive note after falling in their first two Round One fixtures. 

Panama vs. Bermuda  

The second Group B match of the day presents a battle for first place between Panama and group hosts Bermuda at Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda. The meeting will be the first in their history in Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.

Panama enters the encounter as Group B leader with six points and a +16 goal differential after defeating both Bonaire and Suriname with 8-nil scorelines.  With a win, Las Canaleras would win the group and secure a Final Round berth.  

Bermuda has also collected six points, winning 7-nil against Suriname and 7-1 against Bonaire, and sits second in Group B due to goal differential. The group hosts will eye a victory to overtake Panama in first place.

Group F 

Trinidad and Tobago vs. Barbados  

Trinidad and Tobago will meet Barbados at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.  

The matchup will be the second for Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados in in the Concacaf WU17Q. The first meeting ended in a 7-1 victory for Trinidad & Tobago in the Preliminary Phase of the 2016 edition.  

Trinidad and Tobago enter the match in second place in Group F after collecting a point in a 2-2 stalemate against Curaçao in its tournament opener. Barbados, meanwhile, looks to recover after a 6-nil loss against El Salvador.
