BRADENTON, Florida.- Top spot in Group A at the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Under-17 Championship will be on the line on Friday when Mexico (2W-0D-0L, 15GF, 0GC) take on Haiti (2-0-0, 6GF, 1GC).
It will be the third meeting all-time between the two sides in a CONCACAF U-17 Championship. Mexico and Haiti played to a 1-1 draw in 2013, followed by a 3-0 Mexico win three years later.
With 15 goals scored in their first two matches, the Mexican attack will be one to watch.
El Tricolor like to spread the wealth around, as seven different players have scored during the tournament, led by Natalia Mauleon's four goals.
Haiti also pack a punch on offense, and the Mexican defense will have to keep tabs on the dangerous duo of Flero Surpris (3 goals) and Melchie Dumonay (2).
Both teams have already qualified for the knockout stage of the tournament and will play for a berth in the 2018 FIFA Women's Under-17 World Cup in Sunday's semifinal round.
