MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers continues with 10 Group Stage matches taking place in Groups A, B, C, D and E on Thursday.
Group A
Sint Maarten vs. Mexico
Sint Maarten will take on Mexico in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It will be the first time the two meet in the Under-17 Qualifiers.
Mexico remains unbeaten in 32 matches against Caribbean opposition in the history of the Qualifiers, with 28 victories and four draws. El Tricolor is on a 13-match winning streak against Caribbean teams in any phase.
This will mark the first time Sint Maarten will face a North American team in the Qualifiers.
Trinidad and Tobago vs. Saint Martin
Trinidad and Tobago will face Saint Martin in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
It will be Trinidad and Tobago’s third contest against Caribbean opposition, defeating Jamaica 3-2 in 2019 and the British Virgin Islands, 3-1, in 2025.
Group B
Panama vs. Dominica
Panama battles with Dominica in the Group B opener at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama. It will be the first time they meet in the Under-17 Qualifiers.
Panama is on a seven-game unbeaten run against Caribbean opposition with five wins and two draws.
For Dominica, Panama will be its third Central American opponent in the history of the competition.
Nicaragua vs. Anguilla
Nicaragua and Anguilla will write their first chapter in Group B at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.
This match will mark the first time Nicaragua faces a Caribbean foe. For Anguilla, this will be the first time in tournament history that it faces a Central American team.
Group C
Haiti vs. Grenada
Haiti will take on Grenada in the Group C opener at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It will be the first-ever meeting between the nations in the Qualifiers.
Haiti fell 1-nil to Curaçao in 2017, the last time it played the opening matchday of group stage against a Caribbean team. In opening matchdays, Haiti has recorded one win in its last eight matches.
Grenada will open against a Caribbean side for the second time. Grenada lost its previous encounter 8-nil to Panama, in 2025.
Guatemala vs. Antigua and Barbuda
Guatemala battles Antigua and Barbuda in Group C at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
It will be the second meeting between the nations in the Under-17 Qualifiers. The previous meeting ended in a 2-1 triumph for Guatemala in 2025, which marked the debut of Antigua and Barbuda in the Qualifiers.
Group D
Puerto Rico vs. British Virgin Islands
Puerto Rico clashes with the British Virgin Islands to open Group D at FCRF Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. It will mark the first time they meet in the Under-17 Qualifiers.
Puerto Rico is 1-1 all-time in opening matchdays against Caribbean teams.
The British Virgin Islands won its previous opening match against a Caribbean side, a 4-nil victory over Sint Maarten in 2025.
Costa Rica vs. Turks and Caicos
Costa Rica will face off with Turks and Caicos in Group D at FCRF Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. It will be the first meeting between the nations in the Under-17 Qualifiers.
Costa Rica has enjoyed success in opening matchdays of the group stage versus Caribbean opposition, tallying seven consecutive victories. The only time it lost an opening group stage match against a Caribbean side was a 2-nil defeat to Cuba in 1988.
Group E
Dominican Republic vs. Saint Kitts and Nevis
The Dominican Republic battle Saint Kitts and Nevis to kick things off in Group E at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
This will be the first meeting between the nations in the Qualifiers. It will also mark the fourth time the Dominican Republic faces a Caribbean team in the history of the tournament, recording two wins and a loss.
United States vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The United States will face Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group E at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It will be the first time they meet in the Under-17 Qualifiers.
The USA has dominated clashes against Caribbean opponents on opening matchdays. The Stars and Stripes are undefeated with 11 wins in those instances. Each of the last three U.S. opening groups stage matches against Caribbean foes ended in a 5-nil scoreline.
