BRADENTON, Florida A strong second half powered the United States past Canada 4-0 and into the Final of the 2019 Concacaf Under-17 Championship on Tuesday at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

There were chances for both sides in the first half, but the deadlock remained going into halftime.

It was in the second 45 minutes that the U.S. grabbed ahold of the contest, beginning with a Bryang Kayo goal in the 47’.

Canada looked to respond but the momentum was clearly with the U.S. and Giovanni Reyna was able to double the margin in the 64’.

The U.S. was fully in control and could play to its liking, which resulted in a pair of late scores for Ricardo Pepi in the 78’ and 82’ to seal the U.S.’s spot in the Final.
