BRADENTON, Florida The 2019 Concacaf Under-17 Championship continued on Sunday with Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti and El Salvador earning wins.

Trinidad and Tobago vs. Mexico, Group E

Santiago Munoz scored a hat trick to lead Mexico to a 0-5 win versus Trinidad and Tobago. Bryan Gonzalez gave El Tricolor a dream start in the 8’ before Munoz tallied his first two scores in the 27’ and 35’. Efrain Alvarez kept things going in the second half in the 59’ before Munoz capped his day with a goal in the 88’.

Bermuda vs. Jamaica, Group E

A strong started powered Jamaica to a 2-4 victory versus Bermuda. The Reggae Boyz were up 2-0 in the first 10 minutes thanks to goals from Revaldo Mitchell (4’) and Rajay Wright (9’). Wright added a second in the 15’ before Bermuda would battle back and pull within two goals through Jayce Basden (47’). But the day belonged to Wright, who completed his hat trick in the 51’, while Arnezha Astwood’s penalty conversion in the 64’ ending things on a positive note for Bermuda.

Guyana vs. Haiti, Group G

Haiti continued its fine form at the CU17 with a 6-0 win versus Guyana. Five different players found the back of the net for the Haitians, with Michel Pierre (12’, 28’), Kervens Jolicoeur (21’), Kurowskybob Pierre (27’), Omre Etienne (43’) and Thero Rhinvil (82’) all getting their name son the scoresheet.

El Salvador vs. Honduras, Group G

In a battle of Central American rivals, El Salvador edged Honduras 2-1. Saul Emerson got the Cuscatlecos a 1-0 lead in the 27’, but the Catrachos would answer through Hector Medrano in the 43’. Nevertheless, El Salvador would do just enough to make the difference in the second half and earned the three points thanks to Kevin Roman’s goal in the 52’.
