Mexico will have its sights set on a top two finish to assure itself a place in the Round of 32. Honduras will be among the sides striving to place itself among the best third place teams.
Aside from the race for the Knockout Round, El Salvador and Haiti will seek collect their first wins at a FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Switzerland vs. Mexico
Mexico meets Switzerland in Group F at Aspire Zone - Pitch 3 in Doha, Qatar.
Ian Olvera scored the lone goal in Mexico’s 1-nil win over Côte d'Ivoire. Santiago Lopez posted two saves to collect his first clean sheet in the 2025 edition.
El Tricolor enters with a 1-0-1 record and third in the group. Mexico will seek a victory to advance to the Round of 32 as a top two side or one of the eight best third place teams.
El Salvador vs. Germany
El Salvador faces Germany in Group G at Aspire Zone - Pitch 5 in Doha, Qatar.
La Selecta collected its first point at a U17 World Cup with a nil-nil draw against Colombia. Oliver Alegria posted nine saves to secure his first clean sheet in the tournament.
The Salvadorans enter with a 0-1-1 record and will seek their first victory against Germany to potentially jump into the top two, or position themselves among the third-place sides in contention for the next round.
Honduras vs. Indonesia
Honduras takes on Indonesia in Group H at Aspire Zone - Pitch 2 in Doha, Qatar.
La H will seek its first victory after defeats to Brazil and Zambia. Yeison Arriola and David Flores scored in the team’s recent 5-2 defeat to Zambia.
Venezuela vs. Haiti
Haiti faces Venezuela in Group E at Aspire Zone - Pitch 9 in Doha, Qatar.
Franco Celestin scored for Haiti in the 8-1 loss against England. Nikolai Pierre was the author of the team’s lone goal in the 4-1 loss to Egypt.
Making its third participation at the U-17 World Cup, Haiti will seek to collect its first set of three points in the competition.
