Guadeloupe 2, Saint Martin 1

GOALS:  Loic Antonides 13’, Geordy Choisi 61’ – Federic Reymond 40’

Man of the Match:  Loic Antonides (Guadeloupe)

Guadeloupe (3-0-0, 9 points) maintained its perfect record with a 2-1 win over Saint Martin (1-0-2, 3 points).  Geordy Choisi extended his scoring streak to three straight games, breaking a 1-1 stalemate with the game-winning goal in the 61st minute.  Loic Antonides gave Guadeloupe a 13th minute lead with his third goal of the tournament, but Saint Martin’s Federic Reymond leveled five minutes after the interval.  .  The Gwada Boys are assured of remaining in first place regardless of Honduras’ result against St. Kitts & Nevis later in the day.

Honduras 6, St. Kitts & Nevis 0

GOALS:  Darixon Vuelto 2’, 37’; Jorge Alvarez 5’; Jeancarlo Vargas 53’, 61’, 68 

Man of the Match:  Darixon Vuelto (Honduras)

A second half hat-trick by Jeancarlo Vargas ensured three points for Honduras (2-0-0, 6 points) as it topped St. Kitts & Nevis (0-0-2, 0 points), 6-0.  Two goals by Man of the Match Darixon Vuelto, one two minutes after the opening whistle and the other two minutes after the break, did the main damage and kept the Catrachos within three points of first-place Guadeloupe, which has played one more game.

Honduras and Guadeloupe will meet on Monday in an encounter that could decide the group winner.
