CHICAGO – United States women's national team head coach Jill Ellis named Thursday a 21-player roster for away international friendlies against Sweden on June 8 and Norway on June 11.
The roster is highlighted by the inclusion of midfielder Carli Lloyd, who helped Manchester City win the FA Women’s Cup earlier this month, and forward Alex Morgan, whose Lyon side will meet Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on June 1.
"This will be a quick trip against two very good teams in final preparations for the Euros, so I'm looking forward to seeing how we respond to these two quality opponents,” said Ellis.
