Toronto, ON — Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment (CSME) and Concacaf, the governing body for football in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, today announced a one-year extension of their agreement for the exclusive Canadian media rights to the region’s premier international and club competitions.

In a pivotal period for the women’s game, the renewed agreement includes the Concacaf W Qualifiers and the Concacaf W Championship — the region’s pathway competitions that determine qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics — and represent a critical stage for the Canada Soccer Women’s National Team on its road to global competition. The agreement also includes the Concacaf W Champions Cup, the confederation’s premier women’s club competition, further strengthening the women’s football portfolio available to Canadian audiences.

The agreement also ensures CSME retains exclusive Canadian rights to flagship men’s competitions, including the 2026 Concacaf Nations League Group Stage and Quarterfinals, offering nations more opportunities to play and compete in meaningful high-stakes matches, and the Concacaf Champions Cup, the confederation’s premier club tournament featuring the best teams from across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Together with additional youth competitions, the rights package reinforces CSME’s commitment to elevating both the present and future of the game in Canada.

CSME will continue to license the rights to OneSoccer, which remains the exclusive home of Concacaf competitions in Canada.

By combining Concacaf’s premier international and club competitions with its existing portfolio — including Canada Soccer National Team matches and the Canadian Premier League, as well as recent acquisitions such as the Bundesliga and the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) — CSME is strengthening its premium soccer media rights portfolio and broadcast footprint in Canada. Through its licensing partnership, these properties are brought together on OneSoccer, which serves as the exclusive Canadian broadcast and streaming home of Concacaf competitions and a central destination for premium domestic and international soccer coverage.

“We know Canadians love soccer, and our vision is to bring the biggest competitions in the region and around the world directly to them,” said James Johnson, Group CEO, Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment. “Concacaf is a valued partner in that journey, and together we are ensuring Canadian fans have access to the competitions that matter most at a defining moment for the sport. By strategically aligning these rights within our broader media portfolio, we can amplify their impact and help Canadian soccer achieve the mainstream cut-through it deserves.”

The continued collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both organizations to growing the game across the region and expanding access to top-tier competitions for supporters in Canada.

“We are very excited to extend our partnership with Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment and to continue bringing Canadians from coast to coast to coast the very best of Concacaf football,” said Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montaglaini. “With the World Cup fast approaching this summer, our Confederation stands at the center of the global game, and valued partners like CSME and OneSoccer play an important role in helping us showcase our premier men’s and women’s competitions while connecting more fans across Canada to the excitement and passion of our sport.”

With the global spotlight on soccer set to intensify in the years ahead, CSME continues to position Canadian soccer at the centre of that momentum, ensuring fans nationwide can follow the region’s premier competitions at a transformative moment for the game.
