Jamaica to host a Group C doubleheader on June 17 at Kingston’s National Stadium
Miami (Tuesday, May 21, 2019) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) today announced that tickets for the June 17 Group C doubleheader, featuring hosts Jamaica, and group seed Honduras, will go on sale today, Tuesday, May 21. This will mark the first time in the tournament’s history that matches are played in the Caribbean, in what is set to be a celebration of sport and culture.
This summer’s expanded Gold Cup, set to kick off on Saturday, June 15, will be the largest Gold Cup in history. Alongside the group doubleheader in Jamaica, 15 U.S. metropolitan areas, and Costa Rica, also a first-time host, will welcome the 2019 edition of the tournament this coming summer.
