MIAMIThe 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup has concluded its Quarterfinals, with four nations remaining in their quest to lift the trophy on July 6.

Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Here is a look at the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Quarterfinals Best XI:

Goalkeeper

Edrick Menjívar, Honduras – Menjívar was outstanding with five saves against Panama and recorded more defensive actions than any other goalkeeper in a first half at this year’s Concacaf Gold Cup, with 4 saves and 3 clearances (7 in total).

Defenders

Aaron Herrera, Guatemala – Herrera contributed three tackles won, eight duels won, and seven clearances against Canada. He also supplied four crosses, and one chance created, on top of a penalty conversion in the shoot-out.

Edson Álvarez, Mexico – Álvarez helped Mexico to a third consecutive clean sheet with one tackle, two duels won, two clearances, and one interception.

Johan Vásquez, Mexico – Vásquez led the Mexican backline with three tackles won, seven duels won, three clearances, and one interception.

Maximilian Arfsten, USA – Arfsten won five duels, one clearance and two interceptions on defense, to go with two shots on target and one assist on offense.

Midfielders

Marcel Ruiz, Mexico – Ruiz was active on the ball with eight duels won, one clearance, one interception and a 90.6% passing accuracy.

Malik Tillman, USA – Tillman had four scoring attempts, including three inside the box, and also converted 12 duels won and three tackles won.

Diego Luna, USA – Luna struck the equalizer against Costa Rica, creating three chances, to help fuel a U.S. comeback.

Forwards 

Oscar Santis, Guatemala – Santis led Guatemala with four shots, two on target, and supplied the assist for the match-tying goal that eventually sent the match to PKs. He also delivered the opening conversion for his team in the shoot-out.

Rubio Rubin, Guatemala – Rubin struck the equalizer against Canada, from his lone shot on target to help Guatemala reach its first Semifinals appearance in 29 years.

Alexis Vega, Mexico – Vega delivered the breakthrough moment against Saudi Arabia, delivering Mexico’s opening goal as part of three offensive chances. He also won seven duels and provided one interception.
