Club Ranking for the 2023 SCCL

Club Ranking

2023 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League

How the club ranking is calculated

The Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Club Ranking is based on the on-field performance of the various clubs of the same country that have occupied a qualifying slot in the previous five editions of the competition. The ranking does not rank individual clubs.

Calculating formula

To determine the total points awarded to a countries slot(s) (i.e., MEX 1) in any single edition of the competition, Concacaf utilizes the following formula:

Total points

=

3 points per win

+

1 point per tie

+

1 Point per stage advanced

+

4 Points for Participating

+

2 points for winning the competition

Clubs from the Caribbean can qualify for the competition via the 2022 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship (champion) and the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf League (semifinalists and two best ranked losing quarterfinalists).
