TOLUCA, México.-  Day two of the 2018 Under-13 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League saw Los Angeles FC of the United States and CD Plaza Amador of Panama deliver impressive performances in Group C.

A day after winning its opener 4-1 over Mount Pleasant Academy of Jamaica, LAFC picked up another 4-1 victory, this time against Cantera Yucatan of Mexico. Three of LAFC’s four goals came inside the first 15 minutes.

Not to be outdone, fellow Group C participant Plaza Amador also followed up its 4-1 win on Wednesday against Cantera Yucatan with a 3-1 triumph against Mount Pleasant Academy. Jhamir Him Lezcano led the way with a brace for the Canaleros.

Costa Rican side Liga Deportiva de Alajuelense also showed its wares, notching a 4-0 win over Santa Ana of El Salvador in Group A. Both Darrel Andres Dinarte Linton and Juan Pablo Ledezma Porras bagged braces for the Ticos.

Perhaps the most entertaining contest of the day came in Group B, as Futbol Consultants of Costa Rica played to a thrilling 3-3 draw with Cecaf San Luis of Mexico that saw Cristopher Josef Martinez Ojeda score in second half stoppage time to earn the Mexicans a result.

Meanwhile, the standout performer in Group D on the day was Toronto FC’s Luka Juricic, who scored both Toronto FC goals in a 2-1 win against San Juan Jabloteh of Trinidad and Tobago.
