About the group

Columbus Crew and its supporters played a vital role in shaping football in the United States. Not only did they introduce the original football-specific stadium to the States, but they were also among the pioneering MLS teams that joined the league in 1996.

Together, their legacy is deeply intertwined with the history of football in the United States. A significant part of this is down to their passionate supporters, known as the Nordecke, who actively contribute to the club's activities and operations.

The Nordecke group consists of fans of all ages, ranging from longtime supporters since 1996 to newcomers who have attended only a few games. Whilst it doesn’t matter where you sit in the ground, joining The Nordecke is an opportunity to connect with others who share a love for Columbus Crew. The Nordecke, boasting nearly 1000 members, is the driving force behind the unparalleled atmosphere found at their stadium.
