Although his United States side didn’t qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Jozy Altidore had plenty of which to be proud in 2017.  He helped the Americans to the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup title, scoring two goals in three games -- including one in the 2-1 win over Jamaica in the final – and being named to the competition’s Best XI.  He played in 11 games overall for the U.S. in 2017 (4 goals, 3 assists), including seven in the CONCACAF Hexagonal (scored two goals in those outings).  Altidore struck for 15 goals in 27 games for Toronto FC during the 2017 Major League Soccer regular season.
