BRADENTON, Florida – Belize and Dominica battled to a 1-1 draw on Monday to open Group B of Concacaf Under-17 Championship Qualifying.

A stalemate for the first hour then led to a dramatic final half-hour with Belize breaking the deadlock in the 66’ through Henry Daniel Palma.

Dominica looked to respond and it would pull level in the 75’ thanks to a penalty conversion from Tyriq Andrew Joseph.

Despite chances from both sides, a winner was not to be had as the two teams had to each settle for a point.
