At Concacaf the welfare of everyone involved in football across the region is our top priority. Like you, we are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 in our communities and for that reason took the decision to suspend our competitions.
We are taking advice from public health experts and working closely with all our member football associations, and clubs and leagues, to consider next steps and how we can get back to football at an appropriate time in the future.
As fans, you are the people who truly bring the sport to life, passionately supporting your teams during World Cups, Gold Cups, and the many leagues and competitions played across this region. We urge you, and your families and communities, to please take all the precautions being advised by your governments, and the World Health Organization, so you are in good health when football resumes in the future.
Thank you for your continued support for Concacaf competitions and for the sport as a whole in North and Central America and the Caribbean. We wish you and your families all the very best at this challenging time.
