MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf Friendly Series continued with sixteen nations taking part in the second matchday on Saturday.
Cuba, and the British Virgin Islands earned consecutive victories while Belize and Guyana entered the tournament with wins.
Group A
Martinique 0, Cuba 2
Cuba earned a 2-nil victory against Martinique in Group A at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
Yasnier Matos struck for a second consecutive match to open the scoring in the 41’ and place Cuba in the lead.
Alessio Raballo extended the advantage in the 45’ as Los Leones del Caribe collected a consecutive victory.
Saint Vincent and The Grenadines 3, Saint Lucia 1
Saint Vincent and The Grenadines earned a 3-1 win against Saint Lucia in Group A at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
The Vincy Heat took the lead in the 12’ through Oalex Anderson. Diel Spring doubled the lead in the 13’.
Caniggia Elva cut the deficit for Saint Lucia in the 45’+2’.
Azinho Solomon added a third for Saint Vincent and The Grenadines in the 63’ to seal the victory.
Group B
Dominica 2, Sint Maarten 3
Sint Maarten won 3-2 against Dominica in Group B at the SKNFA Technical Center in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Len Bleeker opened the scoring in the 22’ to place Sint Maarten in front. Travist Joseph equalized in the 43’.
Mitchell De Nooijer struck in the 66’ to retake the lead for Sint Maarten. Joseph collected his brace in the 71’ to once again place Dominica on level terms.
Chovanie Amatkarijo converted a penalty kick attempt in the 75’ for the match-winning goal.
Saint Martin 0, Belize 1
Belize took a 1-nil victory over Saint Martin in Group B at the SKNFA Technical Center in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Desmond Wade scored the lone goal of the match in the 26’ to give Belize the full three points.
Group C
Barbados 0, Aruba 3
Aruba won 3-nil against Barbados in Group C at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda.
Quilan Poulina opened the scoring in the 4’ to place Aruba in the lead. Jaybrien Romano extended the advantage in the 59’, before Carolith Fermina sealed the victory in the 76’.
Guyana 2, Bonaire 1
Guyana won 2-1 against Bonaire in Group C at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda.
Stephen Duke-McKenna placed Guyana in front in the 5’. Ronalchio Clijdesdale equalized for Bonaire in the 16’.
Osaze De Rosario struck the match-winning goal in the 77’ to secure the win for Guyana.
Group D
Bahamas 0, British Virgin Islands 6
The British Virgin Islands won 6-nil against the Bahamas in Group D at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.
Javaun Splatt led the way offensively with a hat-trick, striking in the 5’, 41’, and 52’. Kyran Samadi added his name on the scoresheet in the 44’, Kristian Javier scored in the 50’, and Luka Chalwell added a bow on the victory in the 72’.
Cayman Islands 4, Anguilla 0
The Cayman Islands won 4-nil over Anguilla in Group D at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.
Gunnar Studenhofft opened the scoring in the 16’ from the penalty spot. Zachary Scott doubled the lead in the 28’, before Studenhofft collected his brace in the 58’. Owens Ebanks Banegas sealed the victory in the 84’ to close the scoring.
