MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf Friendly Series continued with 12 nations taking part in international friendlies on Sunday.
El Salvador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Saint Martin were all victorious. The other match ended in a 1-1 draw
Group A
El Salvador 1-0 Martinique
El Salvador earned a 1-nil win over Martinique at Estadio Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
After a scoreless 90 minutes, Mayer Gil broke the deadlock in the 90’+2’ with a sensational strike from the edge of the box to give La Selecta the victory.
Dominican Republic 1-1 Cuba
The Dominican Republic and Cuba played to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
Dairon Reyes got Cuba on the board in the 51’. It didn’t take long for the Dominican Republic to respond as Dorny Romero netted the equalizer in the 53’ for his second goal in as many matches.
Group C
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 3-2 Barbados
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines earned a 3-2 win over Barbados at Antonio Trinidad Stadium in Rincon, Bonaire.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines opened the scoring in the 28’ with a goal from Kirtney Franklyn. They doubled it up ten minutes later as Azinho Solomon found the back of the net in the 38’.
Barbados responded in the second half with a goal in the 51’ from Ajani Banton, and Jaron Oughterson netted the equalizer in the 59’.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines found the winner as captain Oalex Anderson delivered the blow in the 79’.
Saint Martin 3-0 Bonaire
Saint Martin earned a 3-nil win over Bonaire at Antonio Trinidad Stadium in Rincon, Bonaire.
Jordan Alexandre opened the scoring in the 39’. Coming off a brace in the last match, Jean-Baptiste Leo kept it going with a goal in the 51’.
Malik Denis put a stamp on the victory with a goal in the 68’.
Group D
British Virgin Islands 4-0 Anguilla
The British Virgin Islands earned a 4-nil win over Anguilla at Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.
The British Virgin Islands dominated with three goals in the first half, led by a brace from Tyler Forbes as he scored in the 6’ and 39’. Luka Chalwell added one in the 32’.
They put the stamp on the shutout with a tally from Johari Lacey in the 79’.
Cayman Islands 1-0 Bahamas
The Cayman Islands earned a 1-nil over the Bahamas at Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.
The game’s lone tally came in the 59’ by way of an own goal from Bahamas defender Junior Kelly.
