MIAMI, Florida – Following their 2-1 victory over Minnesota United in the Final of the 2019 U.S. Open Cup, Atlanta United have qualified for the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League.

It marks the second time that Atlanta United have qualified for the SCCL, the first coming in 2019 when they reached the quarterfinal round before being eliminated by eventual champions Monterrey, 3-1 on aggregate.

Below is a list of teams qualified for the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League:

MEX: Club America

The seven-time Concacaf champions are back in the SCCL for the sixth time and their first since 2018 after claiming the 2018 Liga MX Apertura championship.

MEX: UANL Tigres

The 2019 SCCL runner-up returns to the SCCL for a seventh time as 2019 Liga MX Clausura champion.

MEX: Cruz Azul

2013-14 SCCL champion Cruz Azul is back in the SCCL for a seventh time and first since 2014-15 after finishing as the runner-up in the 2018 Liga MX Clausura.

MEX: Club Leon

Thanks to a runner-up finish in the 2019 Liga MX Apertura, Club Leon has qualified for its third SCCL and first since 2014-15.
