MIAMI – Although the 2015/16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League’s group stage concludes Thursday, the last of the quarterfinalists will be decided a day earlier in Mexico, when Tigres hosts Herediano.
Tigres will advance with only a draw, while the Florenses need a win to progress.
Quarterfinal seedings will be determined by that encounter, as well as Wednesday’s first match between the LA Galaxy and host Comuicaciones. LA has already clinched advancement, but can still earn the top seed with a win.
