MIAMI – The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 continues with 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup winners CF Pachuca facing Al-Hilal in Group H at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
This will be the second meeting between teams from Mexico and Saudi Arabia in the FIFA
Club World Cup after CF Monterrey and Al-Hilal drew 2-2 in the 2019 edition.
Pachuca fell in its two opening matches but will seek to bid farewell with a victory. The Tuzos most recently lost 3-1 against Real Madrid CF, with Elías Montiel netting the team’s lone goal.
Al-Hilal enters the fixture after securing draws in its first two group stage matches, drawing 1-1 against Real Madrid and nil-nil against FC Salzburg.
The Saudi giants are one of four teams from the AFC teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualified to the revamped competition as the winners of the 2021 AFC Champions League.
Al-Hilal’s roster features several standout players, among them goalkeeper Bono, midfielders Sergej Milinković-Savić and Ruben Neves, and attacker Malcom.
