PACHUCA, Mexico – Pachuca announced Sunday that head coach Enrique Meza will not be returning for the 2015 Liga MX Clausura season, bringing a close to his second term with the club.

Though the 66-year-old guided them to a spot in the 2014/15 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, the Tuzos finished seventh in the Apertura and were eliminated from the playoffs by Tigres at the quarterfinal stage.

In a distinguished managerial career, Meza has won four league titles, three with Toluca (1998 Verano, 1999 Verano, 2000 Verano) and one with Pachuca (2007 Clausura).

He also guided Pachuca to three international crowns, one Copa Sudamericana (2006) and two CONCACAF Champions Cups (2007, 2008).

The former Mexico chief returned to Pachuca in September 2013 and is the club’s all-time winningest coach.
