Martínez’s strike in the 90’+2’ saw him become LAFC’s youngest scorer in the Round of 16 of the competition at 20 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

LA Galaxy overcame Concacaf Caribbean Cup winners Mount Pleasant FA, 6-nil on aggregate. Brazilian attacker Gabriel Pec led the way for the Galaxy with five goals in the series.

 Nashville SC shocks Inter Miami

Nashville SC delivered the biggest upset of the Round of 16 by knocking out Inter Miami CF. 

After a goalless First Leg, Lionel Messi and Cristian Espinoza traded goals for a 1-1 draw in Florida. Nashville SC ultimately advanced to the Quarterfinals on away goals.
