ATLANTA – The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 continued as Inter Miami CF fell 4-nil against Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16 on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

João Neves opened the scoring in the 6’ to give PSG the lead with a header inside the box following a delivery from Vitinha from a free kick.

Neves struck from close range in the 39’ to secure his brace. Fabián Ruiz provided the assist on the play.

PSG extended its lead further with goals in quick succession, with an own goal from Inter Miami’s Tomás Avilés in the 44’ and a strike from Achraf Hakimi in the 45’+3’.

Inter Miami pushed to cut one back throughout the second half, with Lionel Messi creating adangerous opportunity in the 80’ with a thumping header inside the box that forced a save from PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

With the loss, Inter Miami CF concluded its FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign.
