CINCINNATI, Ohio – The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 continued as CF Pachuca fell 2-1 to FC Salzburg in Group H on Wednesday at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
The Austrian club opened the scoring in the 42’ when Oscar Gloukh used some nifty footwork to create his opportunity and fire a curler from outside the box.

Karim Onisiwo was the hero for Salzburg with the winning goal in the 76’, heading in a cross from Mads Bidstrup. With Real Madrid and Al Hilal drawing earlier in the day, Salzburg takes over the top spot in the group.
