MIAMI – The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will kick off on Saturday in the United States, featuring five clubs from Concacaf.
CF Monterrey (MEX), CF Pachuca (MEX), Inter Miami CF (USA), Los Angeles FC (USA), and Seattle Sounders FC (USA) will face off against the best clubs in the world in the new expanded 32-team format.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is a revamped edition of FIFA’s premier club competition.
Who
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 brings together the most successful clubs over the past four years from each of the six international confederations: Concacaf, AFC, CAF, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA.
Concacaf qualified teams:
- CF Monterrey (winners of 2021 Concacaf Champions Cup)
- Seattle Sounders FC (winners of 2022 Concacaf Champions Cup)
- CF Pachuca (winners of 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup)
- Inter Miami CF (winners of 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield)
- Los Angeles FC (winners of Play-In match)
When
The tournament will be held from June 14 through July 13.

Format
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will begin with a Group Stage composed of eight groups of four teams. Each team will play in a single-game round-robin format, with the top two teams per group progressing to the Round of 16.
A direct single-match knockout stage will occur from the Round of 16 to the Final.

History
The 2025 edition presents the 21st edition of FIFA’s global club competition. Real Madrid CF is the most successful team with five titles, followed by FC Barcelona with three, and Corinthians and Bayern Munich with two each.
The best finish for a Concacaf team is second place, with Tigres UANL achieving the feat in the 2020 edition. Four different Concacaf clubs have placed third: Club Necaxa (2000), Deportivo Saprissa (2005), CF Monterrey (2012, 2019), and CF Pachuca (2017).
