MIAMI – Reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winners Cruz Azul reclaimed the top spot in the latest Concacaf Club Rankings (CCR).

The Concacaf Club Rankings Index grades all clubs and leagues across the confederation. Teams gain points for results in official domestic league matches, regional cup matches, and Concacaf Champions Cup play.

Cruz Azul back in first place prior to Champions Cup Quarterfinals 

Ahead of the start of the Quarterfinals in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, current titleholders Cruz Azul (1,271) have overtaken defending Liga MX champions Deportivo Toluca FC (1,265) for first place ahead of the First Leg encounters in the Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinals. Seattle Sounders FC (1,254) surged six spots and rounds out the top three.

Los Angeles FC (1,251) and Club América (1,247) climbed two spots each after winning their Round of 16 matchups to follow in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Tigres UANL (1,239) fell one place and is sixth, followed by Inter Miami CF (1,238) at seventh after falling four positions. 

Nashville SC (1,227) and CD Guadalajara (1,220) moved up and entered the top ten, in eight and ninth place, respectively. Columbus Crew (1,219) dropped two spots to tenth.

Seven of eight top ranked clubs to compete in CCC Quarterfinals, featuring Liga MX vs. MLS matchups

The Quarterfinals in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup are set to get underway, with seven of the top eight ranked set to participate.

All four series will feature a team from Liga MX against an MLS side, marking the first time since the 2015/16 edition that the Quarterfinals stage is made up of all Liga MX vs. MLS encounters.

Olimpia narrows the gap in the Central American Club Ranking

Three-time Concacaf Central American Cup champions LD Alajuelense (1,156) retained its place as the top Central American club, while CD Olimpia (1,147) shortened the gap in second place.

Deportivo Saprissa (1,143), CS Herediano (1,140), and CSD Municipal (1,130) close out the top five.

Violette FC commands the Caribbean

Violette FC (1,083) remains in first place among Caribbean clubs, followed by reigning Concacaf Caribbean Cup winners Mount Pleasant FA (1,065).

Cibao FC (1,057), Defence Force FC (1,051), and SV Robinhood (1,046) round out an unchanged top five.

Nashville SC delivers biggest upset in Round of 16 

Nashville SC (1,227) moved up seven spots to break into the top ten of the Concacaf Club Rankings, after delivering the biggest upset in the Champions Cup Round of 16 by knocking out MLS champions Inter Miami CF.

Following a goalless First Leg, Lionel Messi and Cristian Espinoza traded goals for a 1-1 draw in Florida. Nashville SC advanced to the Quarterfinals on away goals.
