PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Don Bosco will be making a second straight trip to the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship semifinals after topping La Gauloise (Guadeloupe), 3-1, on Sunday to capture first place in Group 2.

The host completed first-round play with a perfect 2W-0D-0L record, while La Gauloise fell short of a final-four place despite posting a 4-1 over Somerset Cricket Club in its tournament opener Friday.

Goals by Jhon Benchy Estama (43’) and Junior Delva (55’) gave Don Bosco a 2-0 lead, before Dominique Mocka (79') halved the deficit. With three minutes left in normal time, Kerlins Georges (87’) netted an insurance tally.

The CFU champion, runner-up and winner of the third-place match will earn places in the 2016/17 SCCL.
