The Backline
'The Backline' is a group of seven different Nashville SC supporter groups who come together as one. The group's name refers to the defensive back line in football, symbolizing how these fans back up their club with relentless support.
A board of directors and representatives from each group help coordinate the entire experience, from musical instruments and capo stand leaders to tailgates and travel arrangements. Members are part of dedicated communication channels to stay in touch as they work.
With 2000 current members, including many dating back to Nashville's amateur club days, The Backline welcomes all who wish to experience the supporters' section. New members can even meet leaders during pre-game tailgates.
The Backline is a shining example of how multiple supporter groups can unite to embody the role of the 12th man, passionately supporting the club they love.
