Seattle Sounders FC qualified for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup after winning the 2025 Leagues Cup, becoming the only U.S. club to have won the Leagues Cup, MLS Cup, and Concacaf Champions Cup. In its most recent appearance, Seattle Sounders FC won the title in the 2022 edition.

Seattle Sounders FC will become the MLS club with the third-most appearances in the tournament (9), trailing only LA Galaxy (10) and D.C. United (12). It will also become the club with the most matches played in the history of the competition (54), surpassing LA Galaxy (52).
