MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup continues as CSD Xelajú MC hosts Real CD España in the Second Leg of their Semifinals series on Wednesday at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Xelajú enters the match with the advantage on away goals after a 1-1 first leg draw in Honduras. Jesús López was on target for Xelajú, while Brayan Moya was the scorer for Real España.
The López goal was the 150th in the 2025 edition of the Central American Cup. The goal also took the player’s tally to six goal contributions (two goals, four assists), to lead Los Chivos player in the current campaign.

Moya’s equalizer for Real España saw the player reach four goals in four games. He is now Los Aurinegro’s all-time leading scorer in the competition, surpassing Ramiro Rocca (3) and Gustavo Souza (3).

The away goals rule will be used as the first tiebreaker for a draw on aggregate. A 1-1 draw would trigger extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary, to decide a winner.
The winner of the series will be the first team to book a spot in the Final of the 2025 Central American Cup.
