ESTELÍ, Nicaragua – The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup continued with Real Estelí FC earning a 3-nil victory over CD Hércules in Group D on Thursday at Estadio Independencia in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Bancy Hernández opened the scoring in the 2’ with a masterful play to control a Josué Quijano cross over the defender and capitalize with a right-footed strike in the box.

Rodrigo Rivera struck Hércules’ best attempt in the 12’, taking a free kick on frame that was saved by Jason Vega.

Héctor Aranda extended the lead for Real Estelí in the 20’ with a left-footed shot from the center of the penalty area to meet an assist from Byron Bonilla. 

Bonilla penned his name on the scoresheet in the 49’ with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box to find the right-side netting.

Jason Vega finished the match with his first clean sheet of the campaign as Real Estelí took its first three points.

Real Estelí will conclude the Group Stage against CD Aguila next Wednesday. CD Hércules concludes its campaign with a 0-0-4 mark and fifth place in the group.
