SANTA TECLA, El Salvador – The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup continued as CD Olimpia earned a 3-1 victory at CD Hércules in Group D on Wednesday at Estadio Las Delicias in Santa Tecla, El Salvador.

Edwin Rodríguez placed Olimpia in front in the 8’ with a right-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box, striking off the volley to meet a cross to the far post from José Pinto.

Jorge Benguché extended the lead for the Honduran side in the 42’ with a strike inside the box.

José Posada converted from the penalty spot in the 67’ to cut the deficit for Hércules.

Jerry Bengtson scored in the 75’ to restore a two-goal lead for Olimpia and secure the full three points.

CD Olimpia will return to Central American Cup play on August 19 when it visits CD Águila. CD Hércules will visit Águila first when the two clashes in an all-Salvadoran encounter on Tuesday at the Estadio Cuscatlán.
