Miami, FL – The Concacaf Disciplinary Committee has announced additional sanctions on Real C.D. España and its Head Coach Jeaustin Campos following a violation of competition regulations that occurred during the 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup match between Real C.D. España and Sporting San Miguelito on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025.
After opening a disciplinary case and reviewing the documentation and evidence collected during its investigation, and based on the competition regulations and the Concacaf Disciplinary Code, the Committee has imposed a further two-match suspension on Campos, and issued an undisclosed fine on Real C.D. España for the use of electronic communication to circumvent the serving of a sanction.
Campos must serve the remaining 11 matches of his suspension – originally issued as a result of the use of discriminatory gestures on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025 - during upcoming 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup matches and any future editions of the competition in which he is eligible to participate.
