MIAMI - The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup has concluded its Quarterfinals, as the last four remaining teams move on to the Semifinals.

Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Here is a look at the 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup Best XI for the Quarterfinals. 

Goalkeeper

Luis López, Real CD España – López stood out in goal as Real España reached the Semifinals for the first time. The goalkeeper posted eight saves and kept a clean sheet as he played the full 180 minutes of the series against Plaza Amador.

Defenders  

Guillermo Villalobos, LD Alajuelense – Villalobos led the backline for Alajuelense as the reigning champions secured a Semifinals berth for a third consecutive season. The center back played the full 180 minutes as La Liga knocked out Motagua, contributing 12 clearances, three successful tackles and one interception.

Kevin Ruiz, CSD Xelajú – Ruiz was one of the main men for Xelajú as it secured its Semifinals spot in dramatic fashion in extra time against Sporting San Miguelito. He scored the first goal of the series in the first leg, while defensively recording four tackles and one interception in 210 minutes of play.

Widvin Tebalán, CSD Xelajú – Tebalán provided a crucial assist for Xelajú’s goal late in extra time in the second leg against Sporting San Miguelito. Defensively, he contributed a notable nine tackles and five interceptions in 210 minutes.

Midfielders 

Jorge Álvarez, CD Olimpia – Álvarez played a key role as a defensive midfielder for Olimpia against Cartaginés, recording seven tackles and one interception as the Honduran side advanced to the Semifinals of the CCAC for the first time.

Jorge Aparicio, CSD Xelajú – Aparicio was an anchor in midfield for the Guatemalan club, playing the complete 210 minutes of its series in Quarterfinals, contributing five tackles and one interception. 

Michael Chirinos, CD Olimpia – Chirinos excelled in Olimpia’s midfield, being a presence both in attacking and defensive duties. He provided an assist in the first leg and bagged a goal in the return fixture, while also tallying five tackles in the series.

Jhow Benavídez, Real CD España – Benavídez scored a goal and contributed four tackles and five interceptions over 180 minutes of action in midfield for Real España.

Forwards 

Jesús López, CSD Xelajú – An inspired performance from López in the first leg against Sporting San Miguelito saw López play provider with assists for both goals in the 2-nil triumph. He also contributed on the defensive end with four tackles and an interception.

Jorge Benguché, CD Olimpia – The attacker was clinical for Olimpia in Quarterfinals with three goals in the series, one in the first leg and a brace in the second leg. Benguché now has seven goals and is clear leading the race for the Top Scorer Award.

 

 

Yustin Arboleda, CD Olimpia – Arboleda was one of the main creators in attack for Olimpia, contributing a goal and two assists.
