MANAGUA, Nicaragua – The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup continued with Antigua GFC earning a 4-1 win over Managua FC in Group A on Tuesday at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua.

José Espinoza handed the visitors the lead in the 21’, with a right-footed finish to capitalize on a cross from Óscar Santis. 

Francisco Apaolaza doubled Antigua’s lead in the 68’ with an acrobatic volley inside the box. 

Juan Barrera struck from short range in the 70’ to shorten the deficit for the hosts.

Milton Maciel reestablished Antigua’s two-goal lead in the 86’, with a first-time finish inside the box following a line-splitting pass from Apaolaza.

Apaolaza secured his brace in the 90+4’ with a powerful right-footed finish to round out the win for the Panzas Verdes.

Antigua will meet Alianza FC on Tuesday in Antigua, Guatemala. Managua will host LD Alajuelense the following Thursday.
